True, but soft fairways make for longer shots into the greens as well.

I'd be surprised if they didn't turn on the Sub air system last night to dry them out a little bit.

ETA: But rain this morning would probably negate that.

The people the run the course don't like to see super low scores being put up though, that's for sure

yeah but almost all pros would rather a longer shot into a soft green that vice versa IMO

i was just kinda giving a different perspective.. im not saying it will be easy or anything like that just throwing the idea out there. I hope we see a tough course today. I want to see sergio shoot 80

Tough courses do usually bring out the best players

ETA: I think Phil and Tiger both were hoping for that yesterday. They both made comments about the greens being surprisingly slow.

Does seeing a young Tiger and Rickie get you that emotional?

In a recent GD article, that was one of the changes, most of the tour pros who have played Augusta, wished they could make about the place.

Phil was looking dapper. Looked like he was hitting balls in his Easter Sunday outfit.

That the greens would be slower? That is the only defense on some of those holes out there

Good morning fellow golf fans. No work for me today.

I've got a few errands to take care of this AM, but the rest of the day is devoted to watching golf and chatting with you guys.

Going to be interesting if they get some strong winds. I think I heard they are supposed to blow all day.

Yeah I think it will be hovering around 15 most of the day, could help dry the greens out for the afternoon groups.

I'll be at work all day with an excel spreadsheet out looking like I'm working

Wish my wife learned this method.

Taking off at lunch and hitting the clubhouse for some beer and watch Tiger take control!
