A month ago it was at its highest around $1,080ish. Just last week it was around $1,030ish. Then started to tank and closed today around $665ish. It did climb up late march from around $740ish to its peak.

What’s going on here?? Crazy run up, and then drop in a 45ish day period.

Thanks. Any idea of how/why they missed so bigly??

Were they expected to be big in AO and/or data centers, and they aren’t?

This is the TLDR from Gemini:

UI missed because distributors already had too much product and stopped ordering. While they spent heavy on new tech, sales slowed as businesses tightened budgets.

Basically, they overproduced while demand cooled off, crushing their profit margins this quarter.

Data centers are being delayed or cancelled out right in a lot of places. Unlike gpus they didn't have a large backlog of orders that couldn't be filled. So once demand slowed...

As someone who frequently buys their product, this is crazy because half the time they are out of stock to the equipment I need.

No, they are not a big player in data center space, and in my opinion never will be. They in recent years have made enterprise grade routing and switching hardware, but that will be a slow adoption process just because they have always been more of a "pro"sumer and small business leader
