Who are the innovators of drone tech to invest in

I've been reading more and more about drone deliveries. Boeing even has a drone that can carry 500 lbs. So are there some smaller companies to watch that are innovators in drone technology or is it the Boeing and Lockheed Martin's of the world that will lead the way?

I think this is like trying to predict the marijuana stocks that will pop when it becomes more legal. Long term, I think Boeing et al leads the way. Just like Phillip Morris will be the top marijuana stock in 20 years.

I think some of the software providers would be worth keeping an eye on. Drone Deploy, Precision Hawk, etc. Although not public, they could be noteworthy when they do.

i also liken it to trying to hit the boom on 3D printing
whether that be 3D printing of organs, mechanical parts etc.
just the whole industry
i've heard HP is a big player from a few guys who have different 3D printers and play around a bit but i don't really have much knowledge in the industry other than that
ETA: sorry to derail

I know nothing about drone stocks, but there were a bunch of drone startups that launched and subsequently failed quickly within the last 3-5 years. This is still interesting territory.
