I want to invest additional 10% of my salary each paycheck into something. My company matches the first 3% in my traditional IRA . Should i put in the other 7% or look to invest it elsewhere like in a Roth IRA, savings, MMA, or something else you recommend?

Your company matches your IRA... or your 401k?

first use it to pay off debt if you have any, then invest in continuing education

It sounds like you have a 401k that they match up to 3%. And yes it would be perfectly fine to put more into your 401k even though it wouldn’t get the company match.
Most experts recommend saving at least 10-20% into your 401k.
