When do you get buying power

I signed up for Think or Swim app on Monday. I put money in and can buy most stocks and still have cash available to buy more. But when I try and buy the ones like FORW, TSNP, OZSC, etc... it says I don't have enough buying power. My question is when will I have the buying power to buy those type stocks?

Once your funds settle. You can buy non OTC stocks immediately but TOS makes you wait until the funds clear to buy OTC.

So should I not transfer any more money into that account until those previous funds settle because I keep wanting to get in on these smaller ones while they are low.

You have to wait for it clear which is taking 4-7 days on OTC sub $1 stocks. If you did an ACH to broker transfer it’s taking longer with the increase lately.

You won't be able to buy the stocks you mentioned because they are OTC and your funds haven't settled yet.
Some of the other stocks with recent run-ups - ZOM, ATOS, AVGR - are still under $5/share but not OTC so you would be able to get into those if you wanted to.

Yes I got in on Zom and ATOS and am doing well. I just see that the others are doing fantastic and I'm just wondering how long I have to wait before I have buying power to get those. Hopefully by Monday I will
