Went to lock in rate and market is crazy with points going up

Strong jobs report sent longer term rates back up a decent bit today.

Told my mortg broker to lock rate in after lunch and before the process could be completed cost of points was jumping drasticallhy
Well I guess I have to wait till Monday-
I will never understand how the market reacts to just a single report! You have inflation and other reports to come-

I waited until today to roll over 3 t-bills which matured earlier this week. By waiting I added about 10 BP to the new bills.

I just got a signed contract back today for my new home

I closed on my home on September 24th and got a 6.675% rate. I hope the rates come down because I can't wait to refinance.
