It's essentially just a sector/macro bet

Tech/Consumer Discretionary/Communications
vs.
Financials/Cyclicals/Energy/Materials/Real Estate

"Asset Light " vs. "Real Assets"
"Low Int Rates" vs. "High Int Rates"
"No Inflation" vs. "Inflationary Environment"

QQQ won the first round 2010-2021 when rates were low and virtually no inflation

2022 - ???
TBD -- as of now performance is basically the same with VOO spitting off more of a dividend yield and less of a mgmt fee resulting in ~150 bps of outperformance

Calm down.

If QQQ won, what did TQQQ do? Those who successfully use volatility to increase gains above buy-and-hold don't care what VOO does in the next 15 years.

Having said that, I'm a big fan of buying the market via VOO -- especially for those who don't want to take risk.
