I still have it. I wanted to sell from the Roth if it broke $20. I will sit on the rest until they become long term gains.

Looks like we’re running again.

Yeah I dumped my calls yesterday for a wash. They were pretty ugly there on the pullback.

Down 15% this week. Hopefully they don’t announce more cost overruns and incite chaos like their first earnings call.

Think the only option at this point is to buckle up and hope for the best. If it returns to single digits, I’ll consider that an affirmation the IPO projections were fabricated from the get-go and may just bail.

How bad was the first earnings call?
Posted on 8/8/25 at 4:26 pm to DiamondDog
It wasn’t about good/bad. Their pitch is fast growth because of unique efficiencies. Within two months their costs were already understated by a couple billion…which isn’t efficient. If they have to restate their restated overruns in the 3rd quarter they may not only be inefficient, but their growth model may just be economically unviable.
They also have the arbitration issues outstanding. But rumor is the only reason the issue was publicized is because the contract is sound, and bad PR was pretty much the vendors’ only recourse.

I guess we'll maybe have a better idea tomorrow morning, pre-market, when the rescheduled earnings release is made public by VG.
I was, of course, very surprised by the earlier earnings release notification we received today.

Sounds like an upbeat earnings report.

Not as much as I expected. Like a nickels worth.
