TVIX getting to the Sweet Spot

I built a half position this morning on a standing order. Waiting on another leg to drop it further, like China trade deal, so I can go all in. There is always another crisis around the corner to make it pop. Right?

I’ve looked at this a few years back and played it a bit but for me the market is too hard to call on a daily/weekly basis, especially with everything going on politically/media these days. I know traditionally the year before election year is a good one so I’m betting on the market this year as opposed to against it.

Bailed on half my position for 21.12% gain in one week. Hoping for a further pop to unload the rest today. Too weak to roll into the weekend.
