You shouldn't have bought from them.

No way.

No how.

I don't care what kind of deal you got.

$16,200 for a Camry LE, auto, w/ sunroof. I put $8,500 down and my note is right at $270 for 36 months.

Can't beat that.

ETA: I've been through much worst than this and I can deal with it. I just wanted the best deal possible.

Long before the internet, I was looking at a used car. I had borrowed a NADA book from my credit union and so I knew what the NADA price was. Well, the salesman pulls me to the side, and says, "Well, I know I'm not suppose to do this, but I want to show you what a great deal you're getting. Look at the NADA value on this car," and he pulled a beat up NADA book out of his back pocket. The book had no cover and showed a much higher price than my NADA book. I took the book out of his hands (he resisted), and looked at the front. He had torn the cover off so you couldn't tell how old the book was. Well, the date was on one of the first few pages and the NADA book he was showing me was about 1.5 years old. I took out my new NADA book and said, "Well, according to my new NADA book, this is an average price at best, and you are a f*cking a-hole for showing me an old book. The guy begged me not to turn him into his manager, saying that his two kids would starve if he got fired. I just left. Oh, and BTW, this was at a Benson dealership.

You made a terrible, risky move.

Why?

It's a new Toyota and it comes with a Toyota warranty. Further, the service department for this dealership is regularly rated as one of the best.

I haven't had any problems at all.

If you say so. I just don't see why you would feel comfortable giving somebody your business who basically lied to you.

Yeah, he pissed us off on our last car buying experience. Had a good salesman that had done business with some friends before us. After we got the deal we wanted, we moved on to the finance guy who tried to pull something stupid on us with the extended warranty. We didn't like at all something he put in front of us to sign based on it being different than what we had understood the terms to be.
As we sat there for a second, my wife dug her claws into my leg trying to hold her anger in and the finance guy could see real quick that he should not have went that route with us. He quickly appologized and went and got us another deal and a new form to sign. He said that Honda always follows up with a customer satisfaction survey and he did not want to leave anything to chance of him getting bad marks.
I still ripped his arse on the survey.

She looked down and said, "16.9".

I don't think I would have had the patience you showed there. I guess people actually fall for that crap.

Two things matter to me, price and interest rate.

I don't understand how people fall for this stuff. I'm looking at a used truck right now so luckily I'm financing through my credit union.

You should of called the bank to see what the real rate was.

I just got a car loan through a local bank for 6.4%

5.5% - 48 months

or

5.74% - 60 months

Depending on my finishing price, I'm going to decide on one.

that's a pretty good rate. I looked around a lot and 6.4 was the lowest I could find. A lot of banks were in the 7s.
