the meme stocks weren't even a bubble. we need to develop a different level of analysis to evaluate the idiocy we all just observed

Yeah I agree, calling this a bubble is not really accurate.

Nobody thought these stocks were worth it. They just wanted to do what everyone else was doing; eventually someone was going to be left holding the bag, people were just gambling on who it would be.

Not trying to insult anybody or make the bag holders feel bad, but it’s called the greater fool theory, or more recently FOMO (fear of missing out). Sad to see people doing it, but you knew it was coming.
