Anyone else having a delay this year? Filed mine online to direct deposit on February 15th.

I'm fortunate, or so it would seem. Filed electronically and deposit to my account hit in about 2 weeks.

Stop lying to the IRS and maybe they’ll be able to process it quicker.

I haven't heard of anyone having a delay in their refund yet but I wouldn't be surprised if people start having issues soon. I've still got one client still waiting on their refund from 2020 and they filed in May.

Have you checked the IRS website to see what it says? IRS.gov/refund

I filed early and got my return within about 10 days. But 2 weeks later I received an email notification stating my return was delayed. I thought that was a little weird.

Then it's a waiting game.

A month isn't anything crazy although some people get it quicker.

Appreciate the help, I tried calling in but there’s no representatives available to take calls. Seems to be a common issue.

Your return is not delayed. You already filed it. Your refund is delayed.

Yeah good luck

They have always been fun to try and get on the phone but for the past year it has been a nightmare.

I love these posts. Most of this board either makes $500,000/household, is 1099 contracted with zero taxes taken out, or they have really shitty W-4s.

Weird. We surpassed $220 and got a few hundo back from Federal. I guess everyone's setup is different.

It shouldn't been this high, but we were one of those with a jacked up W-4 and it did not get fixed till mid year. I had significate write-offs also, so it would have been worse. Never a good thing when your tax guy starts the conversation with "I have some bad news for you".

Fair enough. That makes sense.
