Deal done with GiveMeTheVin. CarVana wanted me to meet them in Baton Rouge to do the deal. Unfortunately my new car still hasn’t arrived yet and with my wife 39 weeks pregnant I couldn’t figure logistics of how to make it work. Very happy with the process with GiveMeTheVin even if I cost myself $1200 by not coordinating with the dealership.

Dealer wanted to give $9k.
GiveMeTheVin cut the check for $13.5 and picked up the car from my driveway and the process took less than 15 minutes

Update:
Looks like I have someone from GiveMeTheVin coming tomorrow to do a final check on the car and cut me a check.

Did you try Carvana? They offered me $4,200 over my highest trade-in offers on a 2013 vehicle with 65k miles (nearly what I bought it for a couple years ago, actually).

That's odd since their whole deal is delivering cars to your driveway. They're picking mine up from my house on Saturday.

I had to be 100 miles from Scott,La. Their response on the text messages was kind of shitty compared to the other company

My wife's friend has a 2013 Audi S7 with 50k miles on it. Her ex bought it before he bought a Bentley (and traded her in for a younger model too).

She wants get a Honda for the lower cost and maintenance, but the dealer offered only $9000 for trade in. Similar models on online car sales sites show it as $30k or more.

Tell her to use either CarVana or GiveMeTheVin. See what they estimate on the sir site then work them to up the price. The guy told me as long as they
Make $300 on the sale they consider it a success.

I'll check it out for her. An 8 year old Audi can get very expensive.

Trade that thing in to dealership and enjoy the new car.

You gonna deal with some crazy shot dealing with people on an open market.
