im not sure if there is a better place to put this question.
But i am investigating to see what the best service of t1 available in this area(new orleans). the two best prices I have received are from cavalier and deltacom. both would be intergrated with 6 lines.
has anyone had any experience with either company? how was the service/customer service etc?

Deltacom seems decent considering the price. I think it's about half of what AT&T's price had been.

T1 is not worth the price IMO. How much data do you upload?

alot. we have dsl right now and are getting bottle necked and kicked out of our new operating prbgam. i have really good price offers, just want to insure the quality of service.

Might be worth it if you are uploading large amounts of data. I didn't find it to be any more stable than comcast. Download speeds were about the same. The upload speeds were MUCH faster.

You might want to check with Cox Business. I think you might be able to get more bang for your buck bandwidth wise from them.

I have fired both of them for horrible customer service. I'd go with Cox and/or Centurylink if they are available in your area.

I worked there for years (when it was still CenturyTel). Your service will be comparable to ATT in that there are brilliant employees that you may deal with, and some real idiots. If you stick with them long enough, you'll learn which person falls into which category and can then just call them directly when things go bad.

Check on a fiber connection. I have a dedicated 5mb up and down fiber connection at my office for about $550 a month through Cox. 99.8%uptime even during hurricanes.
