Nah, I got out of that a couple of months ago. I still think it's a crap stock, but I'm just not savvy enough to beat the market like that.

Yes. You gave me the buy signal, so unless something major happens, I'm holding it until you give me the sell signal.

I'll reward myself w/ some stock research in a bit. Give me 30 minutes or so.

Well, it was more of a dividend play, although if it reports earnings of .22-.26 on May 5 I think it could see a nice run. If it reports .18-.21, I think it will likely stay the current course in the upper 10s/lower 11s.
Conservative stop-loss: 10.94
Liberal stop-loss: 10.89

BTFG:
Fundamentals are certainly improving. No long-term debt to worry with. Enough cash to pay off total debt. No dilution. Appears company has turned the corner. I know nothing about their growth potential, but increasing sales seem to imply their doing something right. I don't invest in many banks, so this one probably isn't the best one for me to analyze.
Technically, I think it's overbought right now. I'd be looking to get in in the 5.50s.
You've seen me give much more detailed analyses for other stocks. There just really isn't that much info on BTFG. What do you like about them?

I love this thread. I bought Axti a few days ago because of it. I pray it never dies.

Here are my initial thoughts to this report:
I'll take 4 straight quarters of .08 any day.
We have the same amount of O/S as we did in 2007. In 2007 we reported .17 in earnings per year and the stock traded as high as 7 bucks plus.
Management is purposely guiding low I think, just like they did for this quarter. They have some proving to do this year after the huge downturn they saw in late '08/early '09 so they're taking things slow IMO. But let's stay conservative ...
With our high in AH of 4.40, an assumed .32 EPS for the year, and estimated growth over next 5 years of 28%, we still have PEG less than .5.
ETA: AXTI is trading at 4.49 right now in after hours.

RSBR how is your exam studying going today? I swapped out NCAA for Google Reader (I usually do that after class). Got nothing done again.

Definitely is great news from axti... Joez doesn't seem like a bad buy with as much as it has dropped recently

Studying is going well fizz. Three exams down, two more to go. It's amazing how interesting everything other than school work becomes when you have to study for finals. I could read a book about poo right now and absolutely love it.

Excellent news from AXTI. The stock will be extremely overbought tomorrow, so don't get too greedy. Be smart.
