Ya, I wanted to keep it long, but all that volume has me worried.

Haha I actually have a Peloton at my gym that I use, so I signed up on it and got the news from that.

The last update I’m seeing is from May 15th. Do you have any other sources?

I hope WKHS has another early morning drop tomorrow. Would’ve bought this morning but my funds hadn’t cleared from another sale

I’m in at 18.18, so hoping that there isn’t a huge sell off.

It would’ve be incredible to get in at the $14 dip today.

Nothing really new as far as the contract. I guess the bids must be in by July 14th now (delayed due to covid) and the contract should be awarded sometime later this year.
This link I posted before doesn't specifically mention the usps contract but there is some wording that caught my attention .....especially during an election year and Ohio being a swing state.
"Shares of Workhorse Group Inc., a maker of electric delivery vehicles, are surging as investors bet the Trump administration will want the company and a fellow Ohio-based affiliate to succeed."

Trump shits on USPS all the time, I doubt they'll listen to him if he pushes them to select WKHS.
I'm all too familiar with US Gov procurement practices. If it isn't awarded by the Sept 30 end of fiscal year, I'll be surprised if this contract is awarded in 2020.

Good point on all accounts.
I guess my reason for optimism is that its down to 4 companies bidding.....two American and 2 foreign. The other American company, from my understanding, is Ford. But its a gas engine van.
Fingers crossed that these guys get the contract. I'll be watching, and whenever it happens I'll have my finger on the sell button if it goes somewhere else

Yeah, I’m just worried that this got pumped up on hype and will come down for the foreseeable future until that announcement is made.

I'm optimistic too and have a good sized position in WKHS that I plan to hold.
I can't find the article, but it alluded to the USPS contract potentially being split and they receive a portion, which may mean they will purchase a gas fleet from Ford/Oshkosh and an electric fleet from WKHS. Unless this was specified in the request for bids, I don't think that's really possible, but hey, let's go with it.
My DCA right now is $11 and I don't see it dropping back that far. I need to figure out my stop loss strategy tonight, though.

I bought wkhs for this very reason in September/August last year for $3/share.
Sold in February (no gain), so I could free up some cash to take advantage of a potential drop in the market. That money has done well for me, but not 400% well
