I mean not really
There are months where it’s nearly impossible to make money consistently in the otc and you end up getting creamed. We just went through that in March and April. It’s in a heating up cycle now and I expect it to get red hot like it did early February in the next couple months before going ice cold again. I’ll try to get y’all out at the top. Moral of the story is when the music stops don’t look for a chair
I’m not sure what my strategy will be when it goes dead. Maybe dividend stocks

Who wants to pool money for premium on TipRanks?
They recently had a 20% off, which I would have done. Emailed them to see if they will still swing it.
I dropped MarketBeat a long time ago, but they did have amazing text updates that would hit before news was figuring it out.
Like SBLK. Got hammered recently. Couldn’t figure out why until after 5pm. They sold off shares. MB would have notified me.
Anyone else know of a good site that sends super fast notifications on stocks on your watchlist?

I recently heard on a show that the best time for OTC is during the winter months. Like NOV through FEB. don’t know if that’s accurate. Can’t remember who said it, but he was a big penny stock guy

Seeking Alpha. Totally free for this as well.

It’s DEFINITELY heating up now as we are in the “blowoff” top phase in the indexes.

This is going to be a very nice week coming up on the long side. But then, I’m putting 60-75% of both of our portfolios on the VIX at the close this coming Friday.
August & September look ominous

Husss baw when I really get going on otc where I can reliably make 500k twice a year and they get rid of private property here I might move to an island with no income tax where you can buy citizenship. They exist you know
They couldn’t force me to take joestrogen and eat bugs down there
ETA: I really do believe the otc goes through white boy summer twice a year. This one might not be as good as early February but only time will tell

You gotta get more third world than Puerto Rico to find a place with no income tax but they do exist. When most citizens live off cash they run the joint off consumption taxes and foreign investment, one of which is paid for citizenship

Be your own pump and dump service baw
Find shite before it moons and dump money in. Usually worst case scenario is it does nothing
I saw a guy that turned a $90 stmp call into 25 grand yesterday. I suspect he was an insider but basically a stock with no volume announced a buyout and it mooned all in one day and the dude got paid
Eta: paid pumpers will burn you more often than not. I don’t kid myself that the stock market is in any way ethical but if you try to keep it somewhat ethical it works better I think
I don’t like investing in blue chips for instance because I think it’s unethical for 8 year old Haitian boys to get on a boat and never be seen again if you catch my drift

When you hear things like this, it all makes sense on WHY they are trying to destroy currencies. These globalist scum actually believe they are going to be able to tell us where we can and cannot spend our money with CBDC (Central Bank Digital Currencies). Listen to this shite that the head of the BIS is spewing. Only about a minute of your time.

Curious, for companies like lwlg, bctx, when they skyrockets ~20% in a day, do y’all take the profit and roll or hope it keeps going up?
I'm fairly new to the stock game too, and up to this point I have been taking profits on most of my plays while still also holding a core long position on some of them in my rollover IRA. I don't trade lots of tickers but the ones I do trade, I go heavy. MVIS, CHEK, CLOV and CCIV were my largest swings of the year so far.
However, I'm now at a point where selling, at least in my non retirement accts, will have significant tax implications. Do I sell and take that short term realized gain or just hold, wait for this to become a long term gain, then hope it doesn't go against me?
I still hold all of my LWLG at an avg cost of about 6.5. And it's the largest position I've ever held in any one stock. Kinda scary just typing that out. An OTC stock is my biggest bet ever.
Question for the guys that have been at this awhile...is it foolish to let the tax implications come into play when deciding whether or not to take major profit?

I held off on selling my at picks and February pennies because I didn’t want to cut a check to the irs for 400k
I knew the companies were garbage and I knew the tide was changing but I was thinking it might stay stable and I wouldn’t be hit with that big tax bill
Instead it crashed and went to nothing. I didn’t end up bagholding but I lost a ton of unrealized gains
I would gladly cut that check today to get back to where I was. The irs only takes 40%. The market makers take everything

I take ANY gain over 20% on short term swings. I also do most of my swings in our Roth that my wife and I share.
In my taxable account, I take gains over 40%. If the tax bill started looking a little too ridiculous, I would tax loss harvest some things to bring it down.
I’m so frustrated now with the sheer ridiculous nature of central planners that I am seriously considering never paying them another dime. I am far from scared of these evil scum. I have had our ducks in a row for a very long time in preparation of their global Ponzi scheme unraveling.

Do you trade within a LLC or S-Corp? Or have you explored that option?
Posted on 7/10/21 at 9:21 am to ATLsuTiger
I feel like my accountant is already frustrated enough by my trading but he was the first person to tell me that if I’m up go ahead and sell and worry about the taxes later
Tawnf is a good example for me. It got up above 40 which put me at like 300% and I was up 100k in one day? Did I sell? Hell no! I didn’t want to pay the taxes and I believed the hopium that it would keep going up to a dollar
I ended up selling at like 17 a few months later
Long term investing is cringe the government is gonna come after you Roth guys that hold for 30 years and drink yalls unrealized gains milkshake here in the next few years and my short term only investment strategy will finally shine
ETA: if someone predicts what’s gonna happen and posts it on the internet it’s not gonna happen
Even GameStop guy had no idea Gme was gonna go up that much he just figured he’d cash in his $12 calls when it hit 12 and probably didn’t expect to make more than a couple hundred grand when it was all said and done

Who is the guy that swings APPS? It looks like a good time to buy soon for a swing. Just want to know what he thinks.
As far as taxes, my mindset is to just keep getting as much as possible and deal with it at tax time. Is it really 40%? I thought it was lower than that.
Also, what is the max the government will refund/pay for losses? I heard it was 3k max
