a lot of things could be. And without the staggering pollution and waste resulting from their manufacture.
I will say this and it doesn’t mean I’m a communist or anti capitalist in any way. I’m a former business owner who has spent 40 years chasing profit…sometimes when you are chasing something completely new, that could possibly change everything, a publicly traded for profit model might not be the best way to figure it out
This has nothing to do with graphene, but the circumstances are similar. These folks (scientists, engineers, etc) have designed and built a prototype water hammer, that generates clean energy by harnessing the power of ocean waves
panthalassa
there’s a video on their site that tells the story. They might change the world. And the project is funded by VC, PE, corporations and the like. Look what they were able to do.
I hope HGRAF or someone else succeeds in bringing clean graphene to market at scale because it will change this world for the better. But I do think that market realities could get in the way of real innovation and adoption

very cool. And as a PBC they do want to make a profit, eventually. But they are not beholden to public markets which is why I don’t think HGRAF has any business being a public company right now, and I’m not sure this is going to be the best way to get this technology proven and scalable. Certainly I could be wrong
All I want is to see the graphene do it’s magic
