At nearly 2T valuation they are priced to execute perfectly in the AI space. From their own S1 the space business is sort of baked in as a small operating budget.

They haven't really shown meaningful revenue pathway on their core business.

Obviously the stock is a momentum trade than any valuation. So would think it would primarily move on any AI news that comes out... Good or bad

didn’t hold

there seems to be very little market value embedded in space related activity for this stock (no buying based on starship milestone the other day or todays launch to the ISS). That speaks to Ultima’s point above about the space business being a very minor part of the thesis for this. And I have to agree.

If there were a catastrophe obviously that would be bad market news but the big money is invested in this for xAI and Starlink. And without any real reason to buy, there isn’t any momentum

Quarterly earnings are going to be a circus for this thing

That’s a stretch. Most the arguments against the IPO was being straddling it to the AI money burn. Besides, if spacex is really the tertiary interest…wouldn’t they have named the ticker something related to Starlink or xai?

I don’t know how to answer that as I am not a founder of the company. Just paying attention. Space related activity (contrary to what I thought) means nothing to the stock market evidently. I had assumed that launch events that were successful and meaningful would move the market but they don’t

This is (again evidently) an AI and networking company also boasting ownership of the means to control narrative and a massive walled garden to train their agents (twitter).

Space is just a tool. And that’s fine as the external ROI on that seems to be inescapably low
