Well let me be the first to say all you previous posters have no excuse now.

Or find a similar deal somewhere else.

I still think there are restrictions. I was looking it up recently (due to Regions' stupidity about mobile deposits), and I remember that mobile deposits weren't available to non-military.

Regions Bank website down, domain not renewed They forgot to renew their domain...seems like a bank that has it's act together.

Well, maybe they need that 50 cents after all.

I think I may switch to a more local bank.

I don't understand this logic. A larger bank (Chase, BoA) is going to have far more advanced online security and far more features as well.

Horrible customer service is the logic.

Cap one only charges the monthly fee if you are poor.

I have USAA insurance and credit card. What is the major advantage of checking/savings with them over Regions?

I can't speak to Regions, but USAA checking is:
Free
Free Mobile check deposit(Regions charges)
Mobile check funds are available instantly.
Checking/ savings transfers are instant.
If you don't need a physical bank, USAA is great and efficient. There are also UPS stores that do act somewhat as physical locations if you need it but I've never had to.

You'd think a larger bank would know how to renew their web domain on time too but apparently they are too incompetent for that.

If they can't handle that simple task, I have no faith in what their supposed vaunted security features must be as you suggest.

Could you imagine if you bought their domain when it expired. $$$$$

I dumped Regions about a year ago too. All the monthly fees and restrictions. I am now with Neighbors Federal Credit Union and loving it. Has everything I need and I even draw interest off of both my checking accounts

It's still down. I stuck with them because their branch locations were convenient when I was bouncing around between Houston, Baton Rouge, and Atlanta.

I'm honestly considering switching now.
