I know nothing about how this works, but it sounds like I can stick it to Wall Street and maybe make some profit, so I’m all for it

Tell me what to buy and if I should buy it now or wait until the market opens up

Forgive me, this is all brand new to me

Are you trying to invest long term or just make a quick buck?

You can submit an order now but it won’t execute until the trading day begins.

Just to maybe make a quick buck and do my part to help tank some hedge funds

When I submit an order now, will I lock in that price, or will it be whatever the price is when the trading day begins?

A lot of folks have high hopes that AMC is about to go for a big run...take that as you may and do your own looking around.

This is what I’m trying to determine

I’d like to ride with GME, but it appears the autists are splitting the support between AMC and others

Looking at GME, AMC, NOK, BB, and AG so far

If anyone was able to ride the GME craziness and make some money, good for them...always take advantage of an opportunity.

But i would just suggest that "try and guess the next horrible stock that's heavily shorted and cross your fingers that a bunch of nerds on a message board will throw their weight behind it" is not the best investing strategy.

Keep in mind, the people shorting these stocks are some pretty smart people and there's a reason they're shorting them. Boring bit of advice, but a smart approach would be to maybe pick one stock you think will move up over time, and buy that and throw in a mutual fund or ETF in a sector you expect to pop over the next couple years.
