So what does all the after hours trading and that significant jump means for us who bought during the day? Will the last price and percent change reflect over night trading when the market opens tomorrow?

This thread has been an incredible read and I just opened a RH account and transferred in fun money.

If someone would be so kind as to explain it to me like I’m 5 years old, if I buy now after hours, will I pay the price per share that I’m currently seeing or will my order go through at open tomorrow, at some other price?

Robinhood only allows trades until 6pm. You’ll have to wait until 9am tomorrow to trade.

When you buy in market hours you can name your price which is called setting a "limit order" or you can sell at "market price" which is that, whatever the market price at that moment. But be aware that the brokers can easily skim off the top if you will and take some profits just by you choosing market price. Its always best to set a limit order, even if you just put in the current price compared to relying on the brokers. I usually do it just a bit cheaper than the market and get it just fine. Depending on the broker, you can buy after hours until 8:30 and premarket starts at 4 am. Again each broker is different in their times.

But in after hours you can only buy in by limit orders. So if you want to buy in after hours, set a limit price and you might be able to buy. You could get a good deal in after/pre hours or you could pay more. Just depends but again I usually set my price just under what the current price is. If you want to set a market price for an after/pre market order, then it will probably just buy your stock at market price at market open.

I've been suspecting something like that was going to happen. This is making too many waves down wall street.

What's funny though, is that might rev the WSB'ers up even more and that shite could explode whenever it reopens

I mean this is all wonderful, and I’m glad that they are sticking it to the man, but if you thought this was gonna end with WSB planting a big flag on Wall Street that is just being purely naive.

Robin Hood question. If I buy tomorrow morning is there a certain amount of time until I am allowed to sell?

No time limit. Price can fluctuate dramatically in pre market though. You might buy at 9am and it free fall at open.
