Found out last year that I had about $1700 in an account at Raymond James. It’s in a simple IRA. Figured I would leave it there. I told my agent to put it in a very aggressive portfolio. (Not gonna break me if I lose it)
It is currently in GWPAX. Year to date it has gained 7.21%.
Is this good for this past year?
Any suggestions on a place to move it to that may be higher yield?

You can transfer it to a traditional but there is a time condition so check it out before you transfer

You can consolidate multiple IRA's into a single account.

Tell your agent to buy coke and hookers with it

GWPAX

Looks like this fund isn’t too good and it’s an A-share so you pay/paid an upfront sales charge.

If you’re attempting to put it all on red pick an individual stock or an etf.

Small account may have a custodial fee too. Make sure you aren’t paying $50/yr. just to hold it there.

As to the other posters point, if you’ve had the account less than 2 years, it’s a 25% penalty if you move it to anything besides another SIMPLE IRA.

Good luck!

Thanks for the reply’s

So I understand that I can move it, without penalty, to my regular IRA.

Can I move it to a REIT?
