Scottrade incompatibility with Turbotax........

Anyone else try to import their information from Scottrade into Turbotax......only for it to be filled out incomplete? For example, after I imported my info, my stock sale information appeared in turbotax, and not my purchase info.

You got to enter it one by one or get gainskeeper. Your account comes with gainskeeper but not the automatic enter it in for you one. Tedious and time comsuming if you dont pay for the automatic one

You can enter summary data for your short-term and long-term sales on Schedule D and attach a copy of a report from Scottrade detailing the individual trades. As long as the totals in the sales proceed column equal, or exceed, the amounts reported to the IRS on Forms 1099-B you'll be okay. Use "various" for the purchase and sales dates.

Got to be a better way. Does anyone have another trading company? Is this a problem with all brokers or just Scottrade?

What I was getting at seems like with one push of a button you should be able to transfer all pertinent info, Commision costs, interest, dividends, gains/losses, etc.
