Is there anyone out there that does something besides money market with retained earnings? Money needs to be fairly liquid in the event we have a major issue, but it could be split up I suppose. Some could be converted next day, some could be converted within a week, etc. Talking about $350-$400k once we have it fully funded...will be next yr bf that happens. Thanks in advance.

money market
interest earning checking
short term CDs

those are your options

I need $1MM in unencumbered cash in order to write the bonds I need. That money has to stay liquid

As the previous poster mentioned, I think going with a money market or high interest checking account would be your best options.
