You use IE too right?
Along with U.S. dollars, debit and credit cards to conduct financial transactions. I'm just old fashioned that way; like the vast majority of Americans.

Just out of curiousity, what was the last thing you purchased with digital currency at the neighborhood grocery store? Using IE and my debit card, I was able to request and purchase specialty meat products from a local grocer. Score one for IE and traditional currency.

Vols, Russian and Broke may not be completely technologically illiterate, however, they aren't the most forward thinking people either. They're probably your typical middle age intelligent people who are getting to the point where new technologies scare them.

At what point will being slow to adapt to new technologies present a problem for you?

Most people don't use IE

Just old people

If these stats are correct only 12.6% of the population still uses IE

I hope that day never comes, but sadly some day I'll probably be just like, "ahhh frick it, I can't figure out these new-fangled teleporting machines! back in my day all we had was self-driving cars and we liked it!"

The problem is that at some point it will catch up with you

Technology advances are accelerating in nature. If you keep just going by the old way eventually you'll paralyze yourself.

Also probably seen perpetual know it all never doers with no real stake in what they promote convince someone to go in and winds up losing real hard earned $.

If bitcoin is future and is at 105/1 and speculated at 10000/1 (i've seen higher) then guys like the ones mentioned realized there is no reason to gamble with all the problems this next big thing faces. Time is on the smart investors side

Don't get me wrong. I have no plans of putting any steak in bit coin. I don't know enough about it to mess with it.

I just know a dinosaur when I see one.

I hope you don't adhere to the Russian superstition about wishing some Happy Birthday before it is their actual birthday.

When I was working in Moscow I wished someone at the Central Bank of Russia happy birthday on a Friday knowing her birthday was the next day and I would not see her. She damn near fainted.

Russians believe if you wish someone happy birthday prematurely, the birthday boy (or girl) will not live to see their birthday arrive.

Here's to hoping he doesn't get socks.

All I wanted was a Sega Genesis or a Super Nintendo. I wrote letters to Santa. Begged my parents. Did extra chores, etc. There were hints and rumors that all my patience would finally pay off.

And the Christmas morning comes, and what do I get? frickING CLOTHES.

All the other kids in the neighborhood got a Sega or an SNES. Auburn, Ole Miss, UGA, the New kid A&M. The rich kids Bama, UF, LSU. Even the wierd foreign kid that nobody liked, Vanderbilt, got what they wanted. But not the kid who's parents drank too much and ran up credit card debt, UT. We got frickING SOCKS.

I know I should be grateful We received anything. But frick Christmas and frick today.
