Has anyone been reading about Windows 8? My initial impression is that MS might actually have hit a homerun here and building an OS that works seamlessly across tablets and desktops, especially with the Live synchronization. I think they might be re-emerging as a force in the consumer sector.
Speaking of Microsoft, I have been following NVDA quite a bit lately. NVDA's chips will probably in the Kindle fire, and there product is used in 70% of the android market. I don't know why but investors just seem to be "ify" about investing in this company.

Also for those of you that can invest in an IRA you are lucky. If I invested in one I think I would lose grant money. However I shouldn't complain.

They're iffy because there's tremendous competition from other players who focus exclusively on low power chips. Nvidia is a graphics chip company, first and foremost.

On a different note, yesterday was my first 20 hr day. WIN.

This deal we've been slowly working through just hit a wall. Client told us at 8 AM they needed "everything" by noon today. Its not typical. I'm still on my 9-9/930 schedule, really no complaints about it at all.

Under Dexia's rescue plan Belgium is to pay 4 billion euros to buy Dexia Bank Belgium, which has 6,000 staff and deposits totaling 80 billion euros from 4 million customers, and secured 90 billion euros ($121 billion) in state guarantees from France, Belgium and Luxembourg to underpin a 95 billion-euro loan portfolio which the bank is to now run down.

As part of the bank's break-up Dexia is also in talks to sell its Luxembourg arm to members of Qatar's royal family. The Qatari investors also bought Belgian bank KBC's private bank on Monday.

Nice work on the exercise schedule. Kicking arse in one area of your life will likely carry over into others as well. Not to mention the added confidence. I'm still running four/five times per week. It really is medicine for the busy individual.

Shoot me an email anytime. Work is going great. I still love it. In fact, the better I get the more I love it. I never have a boring day. I've not had ten minutes of free time at work since I started (other than lunch). That is a luxury when you're working this many hours. I never stare at the clock.

We'll need to catch up. After studying for some of my Series exams, it became even clearer just how little I should ever post about anything financial. That explains my absence around here.

We work steady, I hear you on the clock thing. Its amazing how quickly you get used to getting home at 930 or 10 instead of 5 or 6, and how much less it matters when you like what you are doing. I like it, it keeps me on schedule and it keeps me focused. I'm a holler sometime this week.
