If you had any idea how many jobs I applied for and got close/whiffed on, you wouldn't feel bad at all.
If you are in the ballpark, you'll eventually hit one out.

Appreciate the responses,
For the record i wasn't looking for a pity party or any pick me ups, only the lucky few get that job first couple times around, and i'm not naive to think otherwise. I'm bummed, but not nearly as bummed as i'll be if we lose to Ole Miss this weekend. Then i might go on suicide watch. Thanks fellas

If yall lose to OM is Marky Mark out the door on Monday despite the Chancellor calling for fan support? BTW not trying to pity party, just saying, keep doing what you're doing.

Ya, i figured, but just wanted to make sure
He has done too much for the program to be kicked out, and i don't think our alumni/boosters are stupid enough to put ads in newspapers blaming the AD/Richt/administration etc. But to answer your question, i think he resigns at the end of the season if we lose this game, because if we do, we'll lose to UF, AU, State, and worst of all, Tech as well.

Do you think he resigns if you all have a losing season regardless? From outside the pressure seems high, and although I think its unreasonable to get mad over two bad seasons, you guys seem like you've been in a slow decline for a few years. This is the off-topic thread so IDGAF and I'd rather not slum through the rant[s] for this opinion.

I think he definitely resigns if we have a losing season, althought that's extremely unlikely due to our schedule setup.
Pressure is extremely high (thus the "hot-seat bowl" name against OM), but personally, i see us getting better and better as the year goes on, similar to us in 07. Before the season started, i'd say it was 60-40 pro richt within the dawg nation, but now it has flip flopped with the SC loss. Boise is acceptable, but the way we lost to SC seemed to be the last straw for a lot of supporters.
ETA: Only way he stays after losing to OM is if we somehow beat UT, AU, UF, and tech after...

I understand the emotion of the loss, but to me, the Boise loss is much more embarrassing. You lost to SC by 3 because of some turnovers, whereas Boise just destroyed y'all.
I kind of hope Nutt survives, I will miss him in the SEC.

Its cause you can't out-crazy him. He takes away a primary advantage.

Are you going for your CFA?
I have thought about the CPA, but I am only a fin major, and won't have a enough accounting credits to get my licence. I think in order to get it I would need 24 more credit hours, and I would probably graduate 150 undergrad hours.
Damn I sure would like to sit for it though.

Are the rules the same in Florida?
Posted on 9/21/11 at 9:58 pm to TheHiddenFlask

Note: The requirements shown relate specifically to "applying for" and "taking" the exam. Additional requirements may be in effect relating to "certification" and "licensing", Please contact the appropriate state board for "certification" and "licensing" requirements.
I pulled both quotes from here. LA CPA requirements
The rules are little different for most states. However I think Louisiana and Florida both require x amount of accounting hours before you can receive your license. I don't know how useful passing the CPA exam would be without a license. I have thought about taking the exam in another state, I just don't know what kind of loops I would have to jump through to satisfy the requirements to call myself a CPA in the state where I did not take the exam.
Are you sitting for it?

Has anyone been reading about Windows 8? My initial impression is that MS might actually have hit a homerun here and building an OS that works seamlessly across tablets and desktops, especially with the Live synchronization. I think they might be re-emerging as a force in the consumer sector.
