yes, my argument is that it won't make that much of a difference for people with loans in trouble

if the $100-300 you save stop you from being over the edge, then you are still pretty close to the edge. Lose a job, have your hours cut, gas prices go up, health insurance goes up, car breaks down, taxes increase, credit cards go up and bam you are back in trouble.

That is because Countrywide owns alot more of the market with less competition.
