Anyone have stock in this? Recommendations? Trials have been going on for the past few years and the results thus far show strong benefits for treatment of Mental health. Studies started in the 1950s but were put to a halt in the 60's due to the negative reputation Psychedelics received during the hippie era.

Weed stocks are shite. What makes you think this is going to be any different?

Early adopters highly likely to cash in and out if they time it right. For example, Many made great money in weed early then bolted when it went nuts. I can see a similar opportunity with psychedelics

Nah mushrooms wont bring any legit margin, ESP when/if legalize they’re much cheaper and easier to journeyman grow than something like weed. Less conspicuous black market than weed too.

LSD/ketamine/mdma

Ibogaine/18-mc

Are better ideas imo.

Disagree that mushrooms are easier to grow than Marijuana. Growing mushrooms require careful growing procedures in a sterile environment then during the fruiting stage (the actual formation of mushrooms) you have to closely monitor humidity, ambient light and ventilation.

I do agree with you on other psychedelic options though as my topic was not specific to just psilocybin as a medical treatment I believe psychedelics in general have a tremendous upside to help "reset" the brain.

There has been studies that show one treatment can have a lasting result that stretches over months as compared to antidepressants and antipsychotics which have to be taken daily and also have to be loaded in the body over weeks in most cases to start to become effective.

cannabis is an agricultural product whose most useful form is vegetal. They aren’t dosing test subjects from a baggie of dried shrooms. The money will be in the synthesis of the psychoactive compounds in psylocibin mushrooms, which after they perfect will discard the need to actually grow spores

I get what your saying, however THC is also considered a psychoactive compound.

correct but as you noted, much less resource intensive to grow. There’s no market for a synthetic THC because the real thing is cheap and plentiful. one day in the not so distant future psychedelics will be an accepted and useful therapy for a variety of behavioral and mental disorders and people will look back at how we have traditionally treated those people as barbaric.

they work, and the research is just now picking up steam

and just anecdotally for me, I am a completely different and in my opinion better person after having psychedelic experiences when I was younger. I’m not sure I’d do it again but those few times changed my outlook 180 degrees

The thing is you have to do all that for weed too, if you want any type of decent grow. And it takes several months for weed. Mushrooms are like on a couple weeks timeline. Much less to worry about, with much less overhead. Also much lest of a pest control issue with mushrooms.

They are mostly penny stocks. Wuhan General Group (Wuhn) would be an interesting play. Many have been waiting on ATAI to go public.
