Property Management Company

I made the mistake and went with a property management company for a rental property. They manage a home for me in another state.
The issues I’m having are: the tenant turnover in June 2018, they charged around $1000 for items fixed. I inspected it in December 2018 (I know i should of sooner) but all the items were obviously damaged and never fixed. I filed a complaint in December and received the run around in regards to it. The tenant still hasn’t paid $600 of his rent in February. I asked for the items to be fixed and the tenant to be served. They’ve quit returning phone calls and emails. I was hoping for advice on actions I can take next.
TLDR- management company won’t fix maintenance issue and won’t serve notice on past due rent. They won’t communicate with me anymore.

Check biggerpockets.com for a recommendation on a better management company in your area.

That’s what my plan is if I don’t sell the property. I’m just trying to recoup the past due rent and have them fix the issues they charged previously.

Make sure you hurt their business moving forward with reviews - stick to the facts- anywhere they're listed online.
I don't understand how businesses that are trying to make money would do this type of stupid shite. Especially basic communication.

You are basically asking how you need to settle a case of fraud 
hire a laywer and have them draft a letter if you want to take it to that level. Really nothing else you can do.
This whole situation is bizarre tho, what do other reviews online say about the company?

Well I started with them in 2017. They had great reviews in 2017 and prior. BBB complaints and google reviews from 2018-present have increased. A lot of tenants and some owners have filed similar complaints.

I’ve filed complaints with state commerce, BBB and normal review sites. I honestly don’t understand how you can conduct a successful company like this.
