Paying bills for multiple branches

Hey guys, hoping you could point me in the right direction here.
My company is looking to centralize our billing payment process since it's a mess right now. This would not be for billing clients, this would be for paying utility providers (gas, electric, water, internet, etc). We have several dozen branches across the US, and each branch manager was historically responsible for paying utilities.
Two software services that caught my eye are quickbooks and quicken. Does anyone have experience paying for several businesses on either of these? Or have any other recommendations?

Quickbooks works well for paying bills, but is not great for large data-driven functions like inventory.

That's perfect - we have no need to track inventory, just looking for an easy way to organize and pay bills. Thanks for the insight!

Look into ENGIE or SUMMIT....
they're outsource providers that will handle all those utilities nationally for a negligible amount. They receive, organize track and appeal all utilities and put them on a dashboard. Through upload or invoice, You pay one consolidated invoice to them that is broken out by location and your cost codes and can integrate with your systems.
I managed and paid thousands of utility accounts monthly over hundreds of locations Nationwide with one Part time admin.
And they flagged usage anomolies automatically and investigated including deregulated markets, rate structures and errors in billing that saved tons.
