Are any of y'all invested in this precious metal?

It's 30 times more rare than Gold and currently trading at less than half the price.

It's 15 times more rare than Platinum.

Palladium is used as a catalyst in a lot of chemical plants. It’s expensive, but can last for decades so it’s not a repeat purchase often.

There’s an active thread about HGRAF.
They can consistently produce 99.8% purity using acetylene and oxygen.

I’ve got a few ounces in American Eagles. Lovely coins; but, Palladium prices have tanked.

It’s relative scarcity isn’t reflected in its pricing. It was selling for $3,400+ an ounce just a few years ago. Today, it’s at $1,300.

It’s demand is mostly industrial as an alternative to Platinum in catalytic converters.

While Gold and Silver have outperformed recently; Palladium and Platinum have not.

You perhaps can argue that now is a good time to get in and play the long game. Prices are down and electric vehicles credits going away might spur internal combustion engine sales in the US again.

There’s also the BRICS considerations; Russia and South Africa are the largest producers of Palladium and Zimbabwe’s production is funded by the Chinese. If they collectively decided that they wanted to manipulate the price of Palladium it’s entirely possible that they could.

I'm in on PALL shares at an $88 average. I don't own any physical Palladium.

I'm up 30% and thinking I'm just gonna let it ride.
