I use ledger nano x and the ledger app or some use myether wallet with their ledger . I have a very small amount on coinbase and have never had any issues but to transfer any link from those you need ETH .

every time I think this thing has broken down thru support, it throws down 3 or 4 green candles in a row on next to no volume.. it's amazing
