I think it should be a top 3 crypto. What that means in terms of marketcap is up to the crypto market and how much money exits the scams ranked above it to push it there
Chainlink tokenomics really isn’t about what the company as a whole is worth. It will be about what is needed to use the oracle network and how many tokens will be locked up in staking
If node operators are securing billions of dollars in DeFi contracts then does it really matter what the market cap is or is it more a matter of what a company will pay to eliminate middle men by using smart contracts and ensuring reliable data triggers their contracts.

$10 billion would put it top 3 right now. $9 billion if you do not account for Tether.

Well it’s not a stock...you need to be really careful not to value it like one.
It depends on how much value is running through the network. Chainlink has many use cases. I’m sure speculation will always play a role as well.

Yup. I’ve always said it’s gonna be industry adoption that shoots the price up. The value will be derived from the contracts they are securing. If we talking derivatives that could be billions

Boy how I wish I had bought $1000 of ChainLink at .20 instead of $1000 NANO at $.80

Just be patient. We are all so early in this. There are so many integrations possible that when this takes off it will be nothing like you have ever seen before. The 4th industrial revolution is upon us and it will be all about data .

And threw it all away to make a few dollars, it’s a daily struggle for me not to swing trade. I feel your pain, I’m not sure if I could forgive myself if I did that.

That’s why I just sent it all to a ledger and put it in a safe. Kept a small stack for profit taking on Coinbase and the rest I couldn’t sell without going through several steps to retrieve .
