Something strange is going on - VEN been on $4.07 for 2 hrs . I also cannot cancel an order I made and getting error messages trying to sign in .

Due to a significant increase in users and trading activity, Binance will need to extend the System upgrade and is expected to be completed by 2PM (UTC).

I was looking at binance when It went down. They didn't post that until after the freeze. Twitter lit up with people mad about no warning so then they posted that.

Good lord do yall not know about the Stout and OWS attack and accusation that the crypto people in Telegram were willfully and intentionally frauding Tigerdroppings members in an elaborate pump and dump scheme? Followed by Chicken listening to that and going scorched earth on all crypto threads until he realized it was a bunch of bullshite? Now he allows its discussion but keeps it to this thread which killed the discussions

youre right, just looked more into it.
thats some bullshite but I am going to choose to be optimistic and believe they got hit with a wave of new users (new money!) and everything will be okay tomorrow.
I choose to believe this because I have no other recourse and it makes me feel better.
eta: friend of mine who has been at this a long time and was the guy who got me into crypto told me everytime they didnt prenannounce a freeze -> crash, it was users doubling over and over
