Not sure why people haven't mentioned it. I did it and kept some money in my USD wallet so I could react quicker to dips.
I am not sure on the fees. I find the fee structure on all these sites vague and hard to pin down. If I had to guess, the ACH fee for GDAX is similar to Coinbase.

Maybe because of the credit card ban? Looks like they removed linking a credit card altogether. When i go to link a new account it only has bank account, debit card andwire transfer

Yeah, that's what I'm trying to figure out. When the time comes to withdraw, am I better using GDAX or Gemini?

I'm not instant for anything, so I doubt that's it.

And that's if I use GDAX to Binance, Binance back to GDAX and GDAX to my bank account?

I don't always skim backward, sorry. Depends on what the current discussion is. I didn't recall anyone mentioning using GDAX independently from Coinbase; only in conjunction with one another.

Ok. I was responding to someone who said it hadn't been mentioned.

OK, yeah I don't think that aspect of it has been discussed, typically it's USD to coinbase to eth/btc to gdax to exchange because eth/btc to exchange fees are higher.
I would guess USD to coinbase and USD to gdax have similar fees (going to check this now). So technically while you wouldn't save money, you could save time by removing that coinbase to gdax transaction.

I almost snagged some ETH this morning but got LTC instead.

Bingo. Now we're on the same page.

Why?
No reason in particular. Just one of those gut feelings that never works out

I knew I set the market on a rebound trajectory when I hesitated to buy at 550.
Ever since I got into this business, I've only ever regretted hesitating. I've never been happy I did.

I do see one difference being they need an ID. Both GDAX and Gemini.
