I'm not surprised. They are all dependent on similar technology. I think of all of them having high "betas" relative to the entire cryptocurrency market

GNT is Golem? I think I want to buy some of that. I signed up for Kraken last night and those guys still haven't verified me. I want to buy some damn ETH
and Coinbase made me miss when it was lower because I can't sign up in Hawaii. Should I be trying to buy asap or does anyone think a little dip is in order because this was a mad rush these last few days. I hate missing out

Was reading the licenses on Coinbase and came across this for Louisiana:
"Please note the license issued to Coinbase by the Louisiana Office of Financial Institutions does not cover the exchange or transmission of virtual currency."
What does that technically mean by "does not cover the exchange or transmission of virtual currency?" Even though Louisiana has a money transmitter license.

It all depends on what you want to invest in. Polo seems to have more currencies.
Oh and keep in mind that you don't need to purchase a whole coin...whichever one it might be.
You can invest any arbitrary amount of USD into any coin...no matter how small.
eta google the top crypto exchanges. You'll find a site that compares them all.

I'm thinking mainly ETH. Maybe some Golem as a flier or any others that are cheap cheap right now that have a chance to shoot up.

That's my thought, now to get verified. So ridiculous. Gemini has ETH at $187 right now while the last on Polo was $176 and $178 on Kraken.

So here's a csb, my chiropractor starts talking to me about Bitcoin a couple months ago and I laughed and said I wish I bought a couple years ago (when Wiki was talking it up). I visited him last month and I mention ETH (from here) and he says he some of that too. Then he proceeds to tell me about a guy who lives here that has a fund and it's killing it at like 700% returns in the last 30 days. I called the guy and he tells me he's the world's foremost guy, not sure if I should post his name but he sent me a contract and a link to his fund which is killing it. Minimum investment is $50k. I think I've watched too much American greed because I want to do it but I'm scared to lose it all
ETA: His fund has 16 currencies and I guess he can get some us normal folk can't get and he gets on the new ones before anyone else...so he says

That's why I'm on here trying to figure this shite out myself and being cockblocked from Coinbase and now Kraken taking so long.. I just want to buy some damn crypto.
Anyway, my chiro has $50k with him and has to leave it in there for 6 months. I think he's 2 months in so I'll see in 4 months. I don't think I could ever write a $50k check to someone even if his fund is killing it. I just know I'd be the point his Ponzi scheme stopped paying
