Hell, we are still in the Innovator phase of cryptos. Maybe 1% to 1-1/2% of the population is doing anything with it. Probably be next spring before it goes into the Early Adopter phase at 3% as this stuff heads to outer space.

yup. people will look back in a decade or two saying "man i wish i was there for the Great Crypto Rush. We're still in the infant stages.

That will probably always terrify me.

If I had done this when you first posted your guide on 8/9 (thanks so much for that), then I would have doubled up.

Decentraland
Check this out if you want to see one of the potentials for blockchain. I'm not tech savy and don't fully grasp the potential of VR but this is some crazy stuff.

It sounds like you buy "land" and then have the space to create your environment; whether that's gaming, design, retail space, etc. I view this similar to when the internet first started and people were buying web addresses, I think buying land in this VR environment is probably similar.

Be interesting to see how you navigate in the environment. For instance lets say the app spots on your phone were locked and apps couldn't be moved but you can purchase where the location exists on the phone. Obviously the locations near Instagram, FB, and whatever else people use would be the most expensive because that area would draw the most traffic. Similar to real estate in the real world. IF that's similar to how Decrentraland operates then "owning" VR plots of land could one day be very profitable as the area around you develops.

I need to research this a lot more but I'm going to follow it closely as the potential here seems endless.

Download NEON Wallet and transfer it there after your purchase clears so that you generate GAS as you hodl.

If you transfer your NEO to Binance you will earn GAS without having it in a wallet. They calculate the amount of GAS based on how much NEO you have and how long you held it, so it doesn't accumulate daily, but will eventually get added to your account. They also have GAS listed on the exchange so you can buy/sell it there.

The only issue I have with Binance is that it constantly gives me a message saying disconnected from server and I have to hit refresh. Anyone else have this issue and figure out a resolution?

I saw BAT discussed yesterday, just took a major dip, so I picked a little up. Picked up some GAS on it's dip too.

I've been watching BAT all morning. The Sell orders have been pouring in, I may pick some up if it dips again.

I still need to either download the NEON wallet or Binance. Which is preferred by you all?

BAT is an interesting one, because its ultimate success revolves around its browser (Brave) being successful. The CEO is the guy who started Mozilla, which is one of the highest pedigrees in the crypto world, and also one of the few people who managed a moderately successful browser outside of the big few.

I downloaded and use the browser because it is awesome at blocking adds, but it definitely still has its kinks. I hold a little BAT, but I would imagine they have an uphill battle in getting enough people to switch to their browse for it to take off any time soon

Someone recommended the app Blockfolio in here and I can attest to it. You can customize your feed to what coins to want to follow, add how many you have of each (and purchase date and etc) and it will display your crypto portfolio and update in real time. Pretty solid.

I'm still confused at the thought of abandoning ETH for NEO.

Just bought some GAS, only 50, to see what happens.
Bought 5,000 FUN and 575 OMG last week.
Just upped my stake to a total of 300 NEO, and now thinking about this BNB. Anyone else grab some? It's up today so just thinking of waiting but it's like a little over a $1.

Do you guys read about these cryptos in depth before purchasing like this or are you just trying to view the charts and purchase based on what seem like fast gainers?

The only one I really went on just someone's word was FUN and it was only $1,000 but I liked the idea of it. The others I feel good about and what their WP says. I missed the ETH boat because of issues getting registered and confirmed but I think it may work out because of NEO having more upside. We'll see if that's true. It's up quite a bit since I first bought and I just bought again in the mid 40's.

I didn't really abandon ETH. I moved all my gainz from ETH into NEO and kept my original buy-in in ETH to act as a constant since ETH seems pretty stable.

I did the same. Bought 50 NEO with some of my ETH gains. Everything else is still in ETH because I don't see it crashing and burning like some of these alts. It's like my blue chip stock.
