Are y'all not concerned with all the capital gains taxes you'll be paying for all these transactions?
So don't bother making money because you'll have to pay taxes on it?...........doesn't make sense

You can net gains against losses so not really a huge concern...unless I'm missing something.

are you in the habit of not being honest on your tax returns or something?

Just think they would start to get pretty considerable after enough transactions to not be worth it. But I also have no idea what rate they're taxed at

Capital gains tax is in the 30% range. You keep 60 something percent of the money you make. What's the problem?

At the same rate as your regular job pay. Do you not show up to work to make money because you're going to pay taxes on it?

My experience with taxes in general is pretty limited..I'm young so apologies if I'm coming off as ignorant

Telegram app on your phone. Basically a list of chatrooms related to crypto talk. I posted a list a few pages back yesterday

That is one of the reasons why I haven't sold any coins yet. I don't want a third of my gains gone just yet

No man, thats the point of the money talk. People helping people. Hang around people who want to make money and you'll make money.

This has been my first big investment. Feel like I'm getting spoiled into unrealistic expectations lol. This board has been a great resource for learning though.

generally, if you buy/sell within a year its 30% tax
if you hold for over a year its 15% tax
those numbers will vary depending on your income; since youre young, you might be a poverty trader, so your capital gain taxes are 0%
also mr trump is rumored to be eliminating the capital gains tax altogether.
just make an honest effort to do the tax report and you shoud be fine - my two pennies, not professional tax advice

Do you say this because they aren't worth the cost or don't help that much? My best friend's mom is a CPA and usually does it pro bono. Of course that was when I was only making a little money during my internships in college.
