Can anyone explain what happens when all BTC is mined?
Miners receive transaction fees in addition to minting new Bitcoin. In 20 years when all Bitcoin is mined, the miners will still be validating transactions on chain which will generate fees.

From what I understand, it will be 120 years before all bitcoin is mined.

Crypto blood bath, hasn't been fun but at least it is almost over

There is some more inside liquidity down just above 50k. Market makers may try to get it but I hope buyers come in before that. ETH is close to the bottom of their long term channel. I would think that buyers come in heavily at that point and pull BTC back upwards.
Edit: we have the bottom of the channel touch.

57k is the bottom of the channel. There will be buyers putting up a fight unless we capitulate which is a real possibility given the macro environment.
Ton of risk right now.

Some scuttlebutt that Jump Capital is liquidating to cover their degen longs.

The retest of the bottom will be very healthy for the run if it holds.
Even if we see a run down to 50k, it’s probably overall good for the next run to flush out some degens.
Doubt we see below 50k. Mining difficulty is too high.

Some folks are saying 53k~ish is the target for a retest of a Wyckoff formation.
I got so tired of hearing “wyckoff” last cycle and “caveat lector” “horoscopes for men” etc, but that’s the word.

Sure. Mining difficulty correlates to energy expenditure required to mine bitcoin, which is $$$
Miners don’t like to sell at a loss. Price of btc being much lower than the cost to mine doesn’t happen too much without a miner capitulation.
That is to say, people quit mining and difficulty goes down. The more people mining, the higher the difficulty and vice versa.
If there is a serious miner capitulation, then we could see sub 50k

I understand what they are doing, the question is why? Did they open up some crazy leverage longs at the top? Any theories?

The 52k-53k level is a pretty big area. Last cycle is held as support for a while and held as resistance for a while. I would imagine buyers will come in heavily. I’d not tonight, in the morning.

It’s hard to average up as much as I will have to. I need to discipline myself and understand BTC is not a mature market. I’m going to buy 2-3 BTC fairly soon.

I blinked and Ethereum dropped 10%.

Big dick buys came in right above 2k for ETH. This is going to be a fascinating hourly. Who wins, bulls or bears?
