I was under the impression Chainlink wanted its own native token because it wanted to be blockchain agnostic.

right and for different link jobs there's different payout structures as I understand it.

for eth jobs link holders subsidize the work which was one of my concerns when I brought it up awhile ago.

anyways I saw this tweet go viral today so I'm just curious LINK

I feel like I’m doing this wrong or this is what everyone complains about with high gas transactions. It’s like $100 just to do anything and I’m paying it three times from depositing link, borrowing against the link and then buying AAVE to stake?

1. Should I just swap the link out with AAVE and stake that?

2. If I still should borrow, does it matter what stable I should borrow(used, usdt, GusD)?

Nah I knew the answer but was curious what the VP of Greyscale thought about for the need of the token

Don't use Ethereum I'd you're a small timer like me.

Bridge assets to Polygon.

Gotcha. I’ve failed already haha. I’ll see what I can do to bridge the link I have on their already but may be lost cause.

I may stick with simply depositing link with Yearn. Their APR is around 10% and I can’t really frick that up.

Thanks.Will try that next probably

Learned a lot today. Somehow ended up providing some pair liquidity on Pangolin via AVAX bridge. Lets see how this works out. Thanks Hulk for the help.

Right now on Avalanche the only AMM (Automated Market Maker) is Benqi. I'm using that. In the next few weeks, Aave should launch. When it does, I suggest you stick your assets in there. I will. It's safer, trusted, and they will be launching with a very large liquidity incentive. They'll be paying out AVAX for depositing and borrowing assets.

I think the Pangolin token will appreciate as well in the short term since it's the biggest DEX on Avalanche, so I've got a little bit in the PNG-AVAX LP as well, and staked it for PNG rewards.

Here is an explanation for a guy whom I tend to follow:
Taiki Maeda

ETA:
Im setting a price target of ~$65-$75 after Aave and Curve launch. I expect a 2-3x in the TVL in the ecosystem, so around ~50-75% gain in token price from where it sits now is conservative imo. If Avalanche hits ~$7-8B in TVL and token hasn't hit $75 im still dumping AVAX and taking profits. It's currently at ~$2.4B.

Good to know.

So for AAVE, will it be an Avalanche Main net just like they currently have for polygon?

I have those 100 link sitting in AAVE ethereum net but didn’t move them anywhere past deposit. Will I be able to transfer those over and use as assets on the Aave avax net?

What's your target for cake? I've got 40 based on last highs but thinking if the market stays up it can go higher.

So I'm just now learning how to use pancakeswap. What's the best play with bnb? Supply bnb-cake to liquidity pool, get LP tokens, and yield farm LPs?
