Here let me help you out with some fresh material to bash ETH.
This is a recent ETH valuation paper and maybe you can find something new to use in the "Risks & Threats" section.
Warning its long. You'll want to skip down to "Risks & Threats" (because I know you're not interested in ETHs valuation.)

ETH holders do need to understand these and guage the risk/reward for themselves.

I chalk this up to the usual Sunday shenanigans where red is the primary color.

None of that has much to do with fundamentals of the token changing. ETH could do all of that with the old method.
PoS will make it cheaper to transact- this isn't necessarily a positive thing for the price. The only thing that has happened is it may be deflationary, but deflationary from what price point?
this movement is all speculation. Further, DeFi has found itself squarely in the crosshairs of boomer politicians.
cloudy, ETH's future is, and a token should not have a 1day green candle ratio of like 17:1 over the last two weeks with such a cloudy future.

I have never heard of this and when I google it, I get something called a Sekiklsajfhksjd curve about aerodynamics.
care to educate me?

I’m expecting a rebound from this low by tomorrow. Not citing a fancy curve, that’s just the way I see it

This is crypto what isn’t?

because its due specifically to a single event: the fork.
maybe its a huge boost to baseline value, maybe its not.
everyone is guessing right now. its different from buying BTC dips occasionally. that is speculation but its different because you have a trend

Eh this isn’t entirely correct. Lots of speculators are buying ETH as their NFT play instead of individual ones
Also haven’t we all accepted that BTC rises after it halves? So why is it surprising that the market is reacting the same to an ETH “halving”?

The phenomenon didn't really get tracked well until a couple cycles ago for BTC.
This isn't even remotely the same concept, either. ETH is burning tokens but it has to.
PoS is cheaper to run. It's being sold as a bonus, which from a practicality stand point, it is.
But PoW coins have intrinsic value: the energy cost initially that went into their production. BTC halvening impacts price because it doubles how much energy is required to generate tokens and, therefore, increasing production cost.
ETH is on track to undergo a change that simultaneously decreases its value and increases its value. No one knows where this will settle.

Hopefully, I hold some MSTR and the Sunday sell offs have been aggravating AF

A change that isn’t expected to go into effect into 1Q 2023 at the earliest last I read.

apparently the House isn’t keen on certain provisions of the bill either so we’ve got a long road ahead on crypto regulatory clarity

which is .... speculation

I’m long term hold so short term speculation is arbitrary to me.

thats fair enough, I am just talking about the here and now
in 4 years, no one will be sad they bought any top 10 token. they just may wish they had bought at specific times within this window

Agreed! I didn’t but enough at the beginning of the year but was able to snag ETH at 1700 a few weeks ago thankfully. BTC I’m ok adding more at almost any price.
