so I haven’t kept up at all with what the taproot update really means for Bitcoin. I saw it mentioned as something LTC already dabbled into a while back here. I’ve heard it mentioned as smart contracts brought in a compact way to the Bitcoin blockchain. Anyone want to elaborate further for others that may not get it completely

Think it is just a security measure. Stacks brings smart contracts to bitcoin.

No shocker...btc has multiple nations, public figures, big finance, and the media attacking it.

Is anyone familiar with the upgrades snowden was suggesting? Has this been completed?

They aren't the same. Matic is a layer 2

Pulse is going to be it’s own block chain. Completely separate from Eth

G7 didn't really say much about crypto so that's interesting

the esg fud seems to be in limbo with bullish and bearish signals

the IMF hasn't made any public statements since meeting with El Salvador president last Thursday

Nigeria seems to be doing something with bitcoin as Jack keeps tweeting about it

saylor gets his $500m this week to buy, not sure his move

Nice Sunday run up for BTC. I think this week will be good. We should hear some African adoption like you mentioned. TX Gov Abbot is bullish af and Tweeting, of course Saylor, etc

Musk pumping Bitcoin again, saying Tesla will accept BTC once mining goes to 50% green energy. He must have bought all he wanted during the dips, now trying to push it back up. Anonymous’ threat must have gotten to him.

what a hero

wouldn’t be surprised if someone like BlackRock or some other big Tesla investor was able to use this to time an orchestrated dip.

lol. his narrative has to be a cover for some ESG regulations

the united states grid isn't even close to 50% clean energy.

this is all pretty amusing

As an admitted Elon fanboy and heavy TSLA investor I’d welcome this of course, but at the same time I really hope this pump of BTC is more due to the other factors discussed above than Elon Tweeting. I guess there’s no way to really know for sure and maybe it doesn’t matter but like we’ve mentioned numerous times here, I hate the fact that his Tweets have so much effect. It’s the world we live in though. His Tweets are as parabolic as Trump’s were.

hard to say really. the real pump was about an hour after his tweet

although it would be funny if Elon is pumping it before saylor can buy tomorrow just so he has to pay a higher price lol
