I used to hate the shitcoins being pumped on here until I realized in the crypto world everyone needs to be left holding the bag at some point... It's a good learning experience.

Copying PanCakeSwap, which started a week after BakerySwap and a month after SushiSwap. The food swaps are getting ridiculous.
PCS is a superb platform though. I wish it would get cross-chain operability. That is the next big move. The Cosmos SDK serves as the backbone of both Polygon and the Binance chains, but there isn't a DeFi exchange that has lots of trading pairs between chains, has extremely cheap fees, and has an easy onramp for newbies.

Get TrustWallet or MetaMask if you are on Android. TrustWallet becomes difficult to use if on Apple devices because Apple doesn't let you have a built-in browser apparently. Otherwise just get the MetaMask browser extension, and add the specific RPC urls for whatever chain you are working with. Polygon supposedly has very cheap fees. I had a Matic stack that I sold but I'll throw a thousand or two back into it and use that to build a Polygon portfolio.

Nice. I've been trying to get newbies on the DeFi train, and since I don't use Apple, explaining to them how to connect their wallets to these exchanges was such a massive pain.
