This is not financial advice, but what I have done over the last couple of months and what I recommend anyone who is interested do.

The easy answer is.. if you want to invest it and forget it for a decade without understanding it, invest it in bitcoin. But there's a whole new world of money to learn about to get in early on.

My real advice is: find youtube videos, podcasts, and newsletters to help you learn at least the basics of crypto so you can make sound long-term investment choices. I started with Bankless. These guys are super ETH shills but that guide + the first 10 or do episodes of their podcast will give you solid footing to make sound decisions.

Find some crypto investment groups on Facebook, Telegram, or Discord to help you find solid coins to read whitepapers and outlooks on, learn about lending crypto for liquidity pools (some exchanges even insure your loaned crypto) to earn extra APY, learn about staking to earn some extra APY as well. Those are long-term, safe strategies.

Find a transaction and portfolio tracker that you like. It will help immensely for taxes and for understanding your portfolio as you should spread your assets around. I like Accointing
