no he isnt if they dont fix the fees. if 2.0 works sure, but as of now its not sustainable long term. atleast at this point. Im still bullish as shite on defi but 5+ years.....well somethings better change.

Yeah “broken” implies some sort of permanence. DeFi has barely been around a year. Of course it isn’t perfect yet and it’s certainly not ready for real world use. Bitcoin is also broken by applying this standard.

Do they do this just to open a wallet to move BTC or do you have to verify to buy BTC?
If it's the latter, just buy btc through Coinbase and move it over to binance wallet. You'll have to pay a little fee to transfer, but it's not much

All of these projects wouldn’t be building on Eth if it were clearly broken. Can it be improved? Absolutely. Will it? Likely I’d say. Proof of stake has been proven it can work. There is a ton riding on 2.0; I would think they and all of the people relying on it will do what ever they need to get it right.

This is where I am but also understand where rocket is coming from.
In the long run doesn't matter, if you are posting in this thread you are informed enough and watch closely enough that if it looks like 2.0 will fail....well you will be out already.

I disagree
people are hopping on the eth ecosystem fomo to ride the defi wave.
projects are doing this not as a technical play, but as a momentum one to increase the coin value and raise awareness of their projects

not sure if there is one, I just think we need to raise awareness of every angle here even if some of these theories are bearish
this could likely be one of those things that self corrects, like you said, there are millions/billions tide up in this right now so there are big incentives to fix the problems

New to this, started an account Sunday. Have 100 bucks in profit on eToro. Is there a way for me to use that 100 to buy more coin? Also do i need a wallet if using eToro? Hot or cold? I know this sounds stupid but just learning.

Its not a dumb question, most have the same questions when starting. like i said not familiar with E-toro but it should be like robinhood or coinbase and be a digital wallet so you shouldnt need one.
correct me if i am wrong guys.
