XRP airdrop tonight. Should be fun.

Watching the price crater

Jesus people are gonna get destroyed with taxes.

For example, say you received 1 Spark token on December 12, 2020. On this day it’s worth $1. However, you don’t get any control over the coin until January 1, 2021. On this date, 1 Spark token is worth $3. January 1st is the day you gain dominion and control of the asset. Therefore, you would have to report $3 of ordinary income in 2021 taxes. If you were to sell this in February for $5, you would have a capital gain of $2 ($5 – $3)

Not in relation to xlm but do you think the bull market in crypto is done? This halving cycle was may 2020. The 1st run in 2013 with that cycle was 300+ days. The 2nd in 2017 was 500+ days. The prices generally grew for that long with a parabolic move to signal the end. If it's done this is the shortest one there has ever been with the smallest parabolic move upward.

Why do you think that crypto, especially bitcoin will follow some similar cycle? Its still an emerging currency and growing legitimacy in the minds of most. Every year/month is different. You are best buying to hold, if you really believe in its future.

That poster you replied to appears to be looking at technicals on a <7 day time horizon. The bull run hasn't even technically started yet.

The pre-market trading is .0013, not $1 or $3. That's ridiculous to even write. I don't see any way that's a significant tax hit to anyone.

Tonight I think is a nice night for sleep! Don't think I'll miss anything. But I usually will sleep 4 hours at most.

Of a dump after the snapshot. Actually gives me a little hope. I was pretty pessimistic leading up to it

XRP opened on December 1 at $0.664515 and closed today at $0.546483 which means XRP is DOWN -18% so far this month. ETA: LINK

Is that what you consider “good”?

XRP is down another 7% since you posted this.

And that’s “Mr. Douchebag” to you.
