I'm thinking this isnt a bad thing if you accumulate enough early on and ride the wave up before they do. Then you won't have to sell out of it all at once, and once more people accept BTC in everyday life (PayPal is just the beginning) then you won't have to stress about what exchange to get your shite off of.
As of now, you have to wonder every single day when you wake up if your shite went down 50%

I find this interesting but being an older investor I am looking for help/guidance/advice. What platform i.e Coinbase is safe and has reasonable buy/sell fees.This is just one of a few questions I have ...Thanks.

Similar to stocks but much much more volatile and totally unregulated. Onus is on you to DYOR.
You can get some serious gains, losses, and returns if you are savvy.
Check out cringe worthy defi-dad on youtube, but it’s a good start in crypto defi.
Decentralized finance is where I think the majority of the money talk posters should be since it replicates more closely the real world finance stuff you know.
