bought more hex and kept it liquid. I'll swap that for PLS or PLSX most likely pre-bridge during the ratio trading. If I don't like my options via ratio, i'll just chill.

You’re going to swap hex pre-bridge? Or the phex copies?

You can only swap the PHex copies pre bridge

Just to bump, some devs have said Richard Heart has decided on a launch date and it is definitely in the month of May.

Aight, so I finally swapped my ETH for HEX tonight. So, when Pulse goes live, the Pulsechain will take a “snapshot” of the current ETH chain and make a “copy” of it? Does my ETH chain HEX go away? Do I have twice as much money now?

You get a PulseChain air drop based on what ERC-20 tokens you are holding in your wallet. Nothing more, nothing less.

No one knows what prices will do.

How does it know that I want to convert it to the Pulsechain?

This is why it’s the largest airdrop ever, your Ethereum and Pulsechain wallet will be identical when mainnet launches. Your eHex will be untouched and your pHex amount will match. Any erc20 coins you have will have duplicates on Pulse. That’s all depending when or if snapshot has occurred..

Just by having your eec20 tokens on Metamask is good enough for the pulse launch?

Or do you have to go to hex.com on q computer and stake it

Nope, you don’t have to stake, but if you do those will be copied also. Anything you hold that isn’t on a centralized exchange will be replicated and in your wallet on Pulsechain.

So close!

Via Richard Heart - “PulseChain.com news. This week I should have a better idea when we can launch. I'm waiting for input from devs. Yeah, I know it's mid may already.”
“My fingers are crossed for a short time frame thing, but I know that it's software, and that a longer time thing could be the answer I get. Thus, we all wait together :)”

I'd guess yes.

Just view it as taking an excel document and copying it to Google sheets. The data will be the same on two different types of software (platforms).

This is very simplistic and doesn't factor in the liquidity needed to actually make the pair work.

I still haven't researched it, but, speaking from ignorance, I dont see it working well.

Ex: let's say Purple Tongue Chow Chow Inu has a 12m market cap and 700k in available liquidity on its PTCCI/Eth pair. When pulse goes live, it sounds like all PTCCI holders will have the same distribution of tokens on pulse.

However, they won't have a liquified pair until somebody is willing to risk their PTCCI tokens and whatever base pair the platform would use.

Lets say I decide to add $10k of base pair to the pulse pool. Are you telling me somebody isn't going to take my $10k with the free PTCCI tokens on Pulse?

I think copying over the Ethereum network to pulse is just a hook, and it will be difficult for established projects to move. It might also throw a wrench into having a pegged pulse token with a bridge too.

I would think it would work well for smaller, less established projects that simply want to change to a new platform, especially if they are transaction based like a p2e game, or something, and need cheaper fees.

Remember though, I dont know shite about it, so I'm pulling it out of my arse based on the little I do know. To me, it just looks like it'd provide the same thing as bsc.

It's got a link type of army though, so it could definitely gain traction going forward. I dont foresee too many established projects moving over though. The traction will be from people launching fresh projects on pulsechain.

I watched an interview with Richard (which did nothing to change my mind about him being the absolutely douchiest motherfricker ever) and there will be NFT copies also, which Richard said could lead to the NFT creator selling it again. So instead of a unique NFT, you could wind up only owning one of a pair. I think that pertains to images hosted off-chain but it's a little unclear to me how that works.

I don't think anyone here has ever refuted Dick being cringe. The live stream that just happened had the director of the documentary on and straight up told Dick he thinks people don't give a shite about your watches or cars. It kinda stumped Richard for a bit. It was nice to see some one not afraid to tell him that.

well that kinda unearths the issues with NFTs amirite? Lol. As Richard has said he hates nfts, they are stupid, they are a jpeg loosely related to a serial number on the Blockchain. But if people want to trade that shite, at least I can create a safer and cheaper space for them to do it on.

You should probably sell your HEX and not invest if that’s your mindset. You aren’t cut out for crypto
